Haim Zut, one of the worlds highest ranking Krav Maga masters will be overseeing Students’ wishing to grade to Yellow, Orange and Green levels at the Bodymind Academy in Hendon on Wednesday 10th April commencing at 7pm.
On the Day
Warming up
Students are advised to arrive early as the gradings will not include warm up or stretching. It is up to the student to ensure they are prepared for the test.
Training Gear
Students are advised to wear all protective gear at the start of the test. Changing or putting on training gear during the test will not be allowed.
Partners
If you have not made arrangements for your training partner already, please let us know immediately. Do not leave this until the last moment as your chances of a good grading performance with an unknown partner will be greatly reduced.
Etiquette
The grading ceremony is formal and students are expected to act accordingly. It is appropriate to face Grand Master Haim Zut and bow whenever he enters or leaves the mat. It is also appropriate to bow to the grading panel at the start and end of the test. It is not a formality to bow before or after each technique.
Talking or drinking water during the test is also inappropriate unless you are prompted to do so.
Costs
- Students grading to Yellow belt must pay an initial annual registration fee plus £10 grading fee
- Students grading to Orange and Green belts must pay a grading fee of £20
Please note that the annual registration fee of £45 must be paid up to date prior to tests. If you are unsure of the status of your annual registration, please contact us as soon as possible.
Please also note, grading and registration fees are non-refundable.
Results
The result of your test will be communicated to you privately by your instructor. If you do not pass, you will be advised on which areas require improvement and when you will be able to retest.
Good Luck
Good luck to everyone who has worked hard in preparation for their tests.
